When in my collages animals and children are "lead actors", I would like to allude and speak about an uncontaminated world, spontaneous and pure, but also concealing a slice of unknown and threatening , a sensation of subtle discomfort, which remains in adulthood, a part of ourselves misunderstood and separate. What about the technique? first in my life I am fond to collage but lately the monotype won me because even more unpredictable in outcome, I love the unexpected specks... which allude and emphasizes imperfections of life and at the same time underlines that we are fully in this life, that we are not dreaming as it would seem at first sight...

Cerco di svelare a mani nude qualcosa che si cela nell’insolitamente solito, nel non detto, in ciò che involontariamente rimane dell’invisibile quotidiano, fino a che affiora sulla superficie della carta un inaspettato e irreversibile riconoscimento.

By means of collage and monoprint I try to
reveal with my bare hands something that is hidden in the confortable custom, in the unsaid, in what involuntarily remains of invisible in the day, until an unexpected and irreversible recognition emerges on the surface of the paper.
I met the mail art network in 1998, a free
land where ironic or ethical communication is the key connecting art and life.

WHAT IS MAIL ART - La fitta rete dell’arte postale, permette la convivenza artistica di ogni espressività che vi confluisce, rappresenta un mondo come quello primordiale tratteggiato da Italo Calvino nelle Cosmicomiche, tutto in un punto: epoche e situazioni apparentemente distanti fra loro producono emozionanti patchwork e provvidenziali effetti a catena.

All’alba del terzo millennio, l’arte postale rappresenta tuttora un esempio di globalizzazione positiva, è ancora quel raggio di sole a disposizione nella nostra tasca. L’arte postale è la dimostrazione che l’arte, ma davvero svincolata da obblighi, presenzialismi e compromessi, può costituire, come dovrebbe essere, quel trait d'union personale e leale tra i “predecessori” e con i "successori"...
